Trump as Public Servant: The Early Years

Yes, I'm sure he didn't make a dime. Just as he didn't make a dime on the Taj when it went BK. Although he did take a $1 Million a week out of the Taj for personal expenses while he was running it. Screw those guys who built it. Who are they? Nobodies.

I'm constantly bemused at the full-throated concern and background scrutiny of the guy. I mean, after 2008, after a candidate for whom so little is still known? after a guy who is working so obviously against the best interests of the country? a guy who gave the mullahs a bomb, with a cash bonus?

Will,

Exactamundo. All the green-eyed jealousy for this guy, because he did it and they didn't.

He built more than 120 giant skyscrapers. The accomplishments of the rest? They got more votes than their opponent in the last election. That's it. None of them has even built a treehouse.

Every other candidate is part of the problem — because they're all part of the same Big Government clique.

Albert Einstein said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different result.

We know what the result will be if any other candidate is elected: just more of the same. IS THERE ANY DOUBT?

Any other candidate would wait about 3 – 4 microseconds after being sworn into office, and then they'll start talking "Amnesty!"

I've had it with the status quo. A new broom sweeps clean.

There are no guarantees with any of the others, except the guarantee of 'business as usual'.

Give me a "can-do" guy. To hell with the rest.

Vet Donald Trump? Someone is going to sit there and read 35 years worth of People magazine? Because his life is an open book for at least that long.

There has been no scrutiny of Trump, so far. Why would the media light him up when they want him running against Cankles? Remember how they loved McCain... until they didn't?

If I had any confidence that Mr T was out for anyone but himself, I would feel a lot better about Trump winning the nomination.
But.
He has not shown any of that, either currently or in the past, and has in fact been a contributor to Cankles and Chuucky campaigns.
Ya pay your money, ya rent your politician. That is the New York Way.
Fine.
I do not want it to be so much ingrained in POTUS that it becomes the DC way. We have had more than enough of that with Obunko, who laughs about 'shovel ready' projects, and laughs at the former owners of GM stock or bondholders who got stiffed, and calls anyone who disagrees bad names.
Sound familiar? It does to me. Trump is a little more conservative version of Obama as far as I can tell. He has promised to do things that are not in his power, and threatens to overstep his bounds before even getting the nod.
I can't buy it. Sorry. Wish it were different.
I do wonder of Shrieky McCankles will get indicted before or after her victory dance.
Trumps vaunted "Win" in NY had less votes than The Burn, and he got 90-odd delegates, while WI votes were significantly more, with less delegates. New York Values - another disinformation hit. Still no word on all the 'lies' that Ted is reputed to have told... just words.

tomw says:

"If I had any confidence that Mr T was out for anyone but himself..."

And how is that any different from every other candidate? Or from anyone, for that matter? Last I heard, Mother Theresa is still dead. Everyone else acts in their own best interest. No exceptions.

And:

"He has promised to do things that are not in his power..."

Remember Barry Hussein's promise to "fundamentally transform America"? Mr. T says he'll fundamentally UN-TRANSFORM the Obamanation disaster. Pick one or the other, because that's our stark choice. Anything done by Obama can be un-done by his successor.

And:

"Trump is a little more conservative version of Obama..."

That's crazy talk. There is no comparison between the Manchurian Candidate and the guy whose mission, and whose #1 Priority is to 'Make America Great Again'.

And:

"I do wonder of Shrieky McCankles will get indicted..."

No way, HoseB. Obama knows that the only way he can cement his 'legacy' is to get her elected. He may not like her. He may well hate her. But he's not going to throw her to the wolves for that reason. I'll bet she's on the short list ('scuse me, the *very long* list) of those in his über-corrupt Administration who will be pardoned when the Divider-in-Chief leaves office.

I for one am tired of the litmus tests, the baseless ad hominem attacks, the self-serving opinions, and the violent, spittle-flecked, swivel-eyed hatred by the Left, assisted by the Media (same-same: leftists). Trump can beat Hillary because he has the one essential ingridient: he has fire in the belly!

Cruz doesn't have it. Hillary doesn't have it. Donald Trump will take the fight to the enemy, toe-to-toe, and steamroller her like he's steamrollered everyone in his path, including both Parties and the leftist Media. He's no shrinking violet. Argue with success if you like, but Trump is a winner who takes on all comers. That's the kind of President I want representing America.

Like most Americans, I am sick and tired of the loser's path that Obama has put our country on. The world treats America like a bitch because of Obama. Iran and the Norks totally disrespect him; so do Russia and China, and dozens of smaller pissant countries.

We are worse off than we were 8 years ago (or 16 years ago for that matter). I didn't even get an Obamaphone!

Trump's basic, common sense Proposals include:

• Build the Wall! He's a Builder; he can do it, easy-peasy. No one else will.

• Immediately stop illegals from the Middle East, mainly Syria; heavily vet all others. Promptly deport any illegal found guilty of committing a crime in our country.

• Re-build our demoralized military.

What's wrong with THAT?

"It's putting a girl against all odds," Forsythe Peters says. "She has to overcome obstacles in her life, and the best place to do that is always in the workplace.
