Tolkien and Tennyson and the Men of Albion bid you stand, Men of the West!

One of the great uses of Tennyson's lines comes at the end of this fantastic speech by Daniel Hannan. (ht: Iowahawk)

Yeah but Iowahawk and olden Ben Stiller aka Remus won't feel so special with their wisdom if they vote like any Tom Dick or Harry. The fight our verified betters fought for knowing a lot more fraughtness dangerwise than any of us, plus all of us combined. We call her America. Free, at least, to declaim our lack thereof. That is something.

We all know these men, the NeverTrumps labeling themselves as a Jewish cabal streetcar named "Trump's Id" might have (did). have such special wisdom they are both above voting and running for office. But Oh they shue can sing.

Oh my my my*, et al.

They too can shit on the system like G. Washington isn't looking from above as he has for generations inspiring folks, even the super great wise folks like Remus and Iowahawk, as far as I know.

For how can a man die better,
Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods?
