The only scenario I see as an awakening moment would be after the islambos light a nuke in a major US city that creates several hundred thousand casualties. At that point the sleeping sheep will become brazen enough to start hanging the elected and unelected criminals in our midst.

I see an intersection between two concepts.

1. The collective responsibility has been murdered in the West. Leftoids of all types killed that, lest they be responsible for all the killing fields and camps and gulags and Lubyanka's of all the world.

Once upon a time, we firebombed Dresden and Tokyo, and nuked H&N. Every citizen of the Axis bore responsibility for WWII, and we were not squeamish about bringing the reckoning.

For far too long, the leftoids like vermin have bred among us, claiming their religion of utopia and new soviet men and beautiful perfect omelettes is a religion of peace. Since their goals are perfect and true, they bear no responsibility for the egg-breaking. In fact, the whole lot of the 20th century monsters are forgiven their sins, because their goals were perfect.

2. Every Islamic attack that is not answered by a disproportionate reprisal, is an Islamic victory. And the Islamics proceed from victory to victory. "Hah! One of ours killed 80+ of yours. We can keep this up all day long, and there will be more and more every day. Victory begets victories!"

The Islamic attacks will stop when the banlieus in Paris and Nice and Marseilles (and yes, Dearborn and Hamtrack) are pounded with so much artillery and overhead carpet bombing, that the Islamics will know for certain that every attack will diminish them greatly. When every mosque is specifically targeted to leave no stone standing, everything burnt to the ground, the ground salted and flooded with pork offal. And mounded with jagged metal scrap 10 feet high. Turned into a zone of evil pestilence for a hundred years.

Yes, they bear collective responsibility: men, women, children, grannies, all of them. And yes, there must come a reckoning.

John, I agree wholeheartedly. But what is the catalyst for the West to actually take the gloves completely off and do what needs done? The wake-up call will be when it hits home to a large population, hitting a large city with massive casualties. A modern day Pearl Harbor, not unlike 9/11, but larger in scale or in multiple places over a short period of time. A terrorism Tet Offensive within the United States. It does not need to take and occupy territory, it only needs to instill unshakable fear. Only then will the Sleeping Giant be awakened and he will do what is required.
