Comments: Dallas: After-action Report

Minimal tactical training? That depends upon one's grade or rank. An E-7 isn't going to be a slouch at screwing up some batch of fools in the street. Police either, they don't do small unit training.
Any company grade officer has a good dose of running field work against small units.

No tactical training??? BS. There are many, many very highly trained tactical technicians in the USA. This guy is one of the trainers: https://youtu.be/ZDfPD3nPt-4

He has trained on our range and hundreds of others across the USA. There is no shortage of persons searching for this type of training.

The USA ain't Europa, yet.

I'm an old Navy vet and while my service time didn't include any use of firearms, except in boot where we fired revolvers on the range, I've spent my entire life with rifles, pistols and shotguns and I'm a pretty decent shot and I particularly enjoy long range shooting. Anyone can do it up close and personal.

I ain't skeered of them.
