The Street by H. P. Lovecraft

I don't know why, but I was humming Dire Straits' "Telegraph Road" when I finished that article.

Not really the same thing, but I like me some Knopfler, and I have been a huge Lovecraft fan since I was about 12 or 13 years old.

HP and I share a birthday, but if HP re-incarnated, he chose Larry Correia and not me. Whatever....

Lovecraft saw it coming, didn't he?

I have a 10:37 version of Knopfler doing Sultan's live with Clapton and it will almost bring tears to your eyes. About 1980 I asked Mark about his picking style and he told me when he was 15 he had lost the pick again and it was at that point he would never be enslaved by that device again, freeing all 5 fingers on the right hand to find places no one had ever been before. Watching his playing hand is like watching a dough hook.

Slobbering racism from Lovecraft.

Slobbering idiocy from pbrain.

The left certainly does hate Lovecraft. One of the things that endears him to me. That and his writing.
