Trump's People: Michael Moore's Monologue Redone As a Trump Campaign Ad

Now, that is well done.

"The enemy of my enemy is who I will vote for" This is good.

Two threads down, there are fifteen (as of this writing) comments on the original Michael Moore rant, most all of which thoroughly denigrate him for the fat traitorous ignorant commie pig that we all know him to be.

And all of that is absolutely true, as well as being absolutely beside the point.

Even though we all agree on the relative (specifically, the profound lack thereof) worth of Mr. Moore to every aspect of our lives, I will "say this about that", as concerns his rant.

He's indeed an idiot, but right now, he's our Useful Idiot, and we should wrest the maximum exploitation out of this, his one and likely only, foray into the realm of sanity and truth.

To the millenials the LiVs and to many others Michael Moore is an Oracle, the Brietbartian hell-raiser of their zeitgeist and their very own Alex Jones-ian rooter-out DaVinci Coded secret truths, revealer of conspiracies and every other brain-addled spiderweb of ill-logic and fantasy as exists in the mind of a LiV/leftist.

So, we still afford Mr. Moore the lack of respect which is his due from us. We still hold fast to our knowledge of him being, then, now and always the loutish man his reputation lives down to.

But. BUT. We use his reputation as the lever, to pry open the weak and directionless minds of the LiV, the lazily leftist, and through that wedge, we pour Mr. Moore's words into the void where those folks brain would normally nestle.

If that's not enough to convert them to vote Trump, at least squirrel them up enough to cause them to not vote Hitlery, and hopefully, not to vote at all, to the great benefit of down-ticket Republicans.

I'll always still despise the fat communist slug.

But if he fashions himself into a wrench to use against his leftist tribe, well, I'll put as much torque on that handle as I possibly can. And with a four-foot cheater pipe, too.

And like a cheap Harbor Freight tool, when it's useful no longer, I'll just toss it aside like the cheap crap that it is.

So, for now, for this, for what it's worth, I'll email that video of him at any suitable opportunity. To liberals, to fence-sitters and to staunch conservative leaders in their respective communities.

I have absolutely no compunction against turning the enemy's howitzers around 180 degrees and pulling the lanyard.

Fire for effect!

Jim -- that's an excellent comment.

You still don't get it, do you? They're fucking liars and criminals! That's what they do! That's ALL they do! You can't reason with them! They will wade right down your throat and eat your lunch! There is only one way to deal with them, and you KNOW what it is! If you don't, you peril yourself and others.

As to Ghostsniper's above protest in the preceding comment, I would point out the following from my own:

"And like a cheap Harbor Freight tool, when it's useful no longer, I'll just toss it aside like the cheap crap that it is."

And a rattlesnake is always a rattlesnake, too. That said, we pay many thousands of dollars for mere few cc's of snake venom, from which the vitally important anti-venom is made.

I have more regard for the rattlesnake than I do for Mr. Moore.

In this instance, my suggestion is to use him as the disposable tool he's made himself out to be. And discard accordingly, when his usefulness is spent.

Now, while I would not cry foul if said disposal were to take the form of a lightning bolt from on High, that's not very likely. And I'm not disposed to engage in, arrange for, or provide funding to any form of wet-work to hasten his permanent ineffectiveness. At least, long as we're not in a full-on rootin' tootin' shootin' un-civil war from coast to coast Which, I pray, we avoid.

warning, steep grade & long sentence ahead

Lacking all of that, I say we use him like a cheap Kleenex, and when we're done with him, we then turn these, his own words against him, and utterly destroy as much of what "credibility" he might hold with his fan base, and make the mere thought of a liberal's paying a plugged nickel to watch a bare minute of a Michael Moore production, a laughable relic of the past.

*gasps for air*

And if he ever were to be stupid enough to actually attempt direct personal action in that "eat my lunch" department? The lunch I'd serve would be copper, lead and fire. And ample though his stomach may be, I don't think he'd have the stomach for that.

Frankly, we agree as to our opinion of, and ultimate wishes for, that despicable pig. And neither of us, I think, holds any misconception as to his somehow having "converted" or come into the light.

My focus actually, isn't on Mr. Moore as some lost soul needing salvation and light, etc.

No, my focus, and my aim, is on all the more malleable zombie-brained acolytes who give him credence, and using this opportunity to use their idol in the judo throw of their entire mental paradigm.

We won't get 'em all. Hell, with this, we'd be lucky to get as much as 5% of 'em. But, votes is votes, and stay-at-homes is the same as not voting for Dems. So I say, harvest what numbers we can, and toss the chaff and dross when finished.

That said, of course, due caution is advised. Scorpion's gotta Scorpion, and I'm not offering no rides on my back across the river.

I just see him as kind of a LAW rocket system, where the tube says "Use Once and Discard".

And all I ask, is that we make damn sure he's pointed at his own team, before we press the trigger.

And..... after typing all the above, I meander over to the SideBar, only to find Gerard has quoted me there as a post of it's own.

I feel like I'm Sally Fields at the Oscars, etc.

Thanks, Gerard! I'm astonished, honored, humbled and happy, all in one.

Alas though, whatever "registration" I may have once had with TypeKey is lost to the ages, so I can't log on to comment there, so must respond, here.

You've certainly made my morning, and my day.

I think I'll pour another cuppa coffee, by way of quiet celebration.

I posted it there and will post it here. My take is different because the only thing I've seen of Moore's work is Roger and Me. I read too much about the lies in the rest of his work to have any interest in it.

I got the feeling that Moore did care, at least a bit, about the people he profiled that were screwed over by GM. He saw first hand how their lives were destroyed. But to make movies, you gotta suck up to the Lefties, especially the ones with money. He is a useful tool to them. I don't see any big benefit for him to come out as a Trump supporter. I think he does see Trump as someone that gives a damn about these people too and that Moore was tickled when he gave the auto execs hell.

We can still despise Moore and his work. But Jim is right. We can make use of him too.
