The anxiety is making me ill. Millions of others also no doubt.

I've never heard him so angry, he can't keep it out of his voice.

Good luck to everyone the next two weeks.

When you feel discouraged, and the concern trolls remind you daily that the fix is in, that Trump cannot possibly overcome the poll numbers, think about Wednesday morning. Those insurmountable polls will become cinnamon sugar that you will sprinkle on the hot, buttered toast to mop the egg off the smug and contemptuous faces of the press.

Thanks, Gerard for posting this.
I give Mr Condell props for speaking out, but lets face it- how many people really care what some old Brit has to say, but a bunch of OFWG boomers who realize they f#ucked up, being liberal and so on in their youth?

Honestly, I read AD for enlightenment on the trend, and appreciate the ethic, and the integrity of GVD, and the cultcha- but, its like a popcorn fart on the wind, all the angst and anxiety of Pat and others.

We are simply truly fvcked here, and the best thing to do is enjoy the decline. How long did it take for the Goths to sack Rome after Marus Aurelius, again?

Hunker down, grow your own veggies, find a warm and cozy woman, and keep your kids and grand kids close. Thats about it, imho.

We are like a nation of alcoholics, who have to hit bottom, and we arent even close, yet.

You feel me on this? Can I get a witness...?
JWM- you there, man? Same as TTAG?

We are living in the best of times, the worst of times...

I've long since gone past allowing the anxieties of politics affect my blood pressure, so it's been fairly easy to let go and laugh at this shit. Make no mistake, I've known who Hill'n Bill were since their emergence (I actually wrote a white paper for the transportation community about the sinister implications of NAFTA while it was being considered,) I saw through the Magic Negro (and realized his coronation was inevitable) at first sight, I've never been surprised at new revelations of the sewage in the corridors of power.

But I was born and grew up Poor White, and I saw too many kill themselves knocking their heads against the immovable. Not for me.

What I think everybody had better prepare for is that, no matter what, after November 8 we're likely to be living in Venezuela. The Government News Network, CNNCBSABCNBCMSNBCFOXMTVwhatever, will continue to squawk about their necessity to the world, but......nobody believes them anymore. There is and will be less and less motive to even pretend about corruption, and the thieving and lies will be more and more blatant.

On the other hand, maybe Trump will triumph in a tsunami of joyous celebration, in which case the news racket will react in exactly the same fashion. And I'll laugh like hell, and the assholes I live around will shut the fuck up for a few weeks until a new messiah arises from Soros Inc. and they start over.

In either event, the world has changed forever with the lifting of the rock over this astonishing year.

Half the electorate is in for one hell of an existential shock after November 8, and I hope it isn't our half.
