Pretty weak also from the standpoint of taking the optimistic view of the possibilities should he be elected. Effectively the pitch is that things are terrible, other are to blame for it being terrible. Usually Americans vote for the most optimistic vision of the future, maybe this year is different and the voters are scared enough to break that pattern. Just saying let's make America great again may be enough, but it would be stronger with just a little reinforcement.

Nothing to do now but wait until Wednesday morning to see how it all shakes out.

I never paid much attention to Trump, but I am impressed by him now. The entire Establishment has gone after him like no one else I've ever seen, including Nixon. Yet he is still standing, and may yet win. Win or lose, to my mind he is a hero.
