Over the years I have helped a number of people at work with making a basic budget. A very simple column of known expenses and a column of income. The delta is what to work with to save or pay off debt, of course. Amazing how many people that should be on tight budgets have never done the simple math. The quickest way to avoid expenses is to quit eating out. What a shocker.

First thing to stop ordering: the 72-ounce steak.

Second thing: Starbucks coffee. Talk about pissing your money away.

5-10 years ago most people weren't dropping $100 a month for a handheld hypnotist.

That's $1200 a year and doesn't include all the extra stuff added on (streaming, games, etc.).

I'd be broke all the time too if I let tech slave my ass.

Ghost,
A wise man once told me to keep focus on girls, guns and guitars, and I would stay on the straight and narrow....still working on the guitar.

@Snake, 1 string at a time and 'fore ya know it, with hard work, you're all the way up to 2. LOL

Look back in the archives here about 4 months ago where a young buk was playin' 3 strings (on a shovel no less!) at the same time and not doing a bad job at all.
