I mentioned this right here within the past year, in response to a more recent incident where NBC got caught lying again. (Katie Couric?)
NBC is about the best place to make an example of in the new idea of holding entities accountable for their words and actions. SLAM em with a $1 Bil restitution fee, payable immediately, and the others will get inline pronto.
Fake news my ass, outright fraud!
Posted by ghostsniper at November 29, 2016 1:15 PMCan we at least give NBC credit for inventing the IED?
Posted by BillH at November 29, 2016 1:40 PMThe new term "Fake News" is perfectly Orwellian. But it doesn't take a genius to see that it is the old order's attempt to pull rank on the new-fangled internets gang.
"Why, in my day, we faked news with remote controlled explosives. Boy-diddly did that look good! Nowadays, you got that Photshopper or whatever it's called..."
Thank God for American Digest, and the bloggers present. We blog; you decide.
Posted by Casey Klahn at November 29, 2016 4:27 PMWe blog. We deride.
Posted by Jewel at November 29, 2016 5:04 PM~ our decision is derision ~
Posted by ghostsniper at November 30, 2016 7:42 AMDeciding to deride would be 'descrision'. Another good neologism I picked up from the Onion is 'frustrageous'.
Posted by Jewel at November 30, 2016 9:34 AMI recall many years ago at the start of the fears of the Clinton assault weapons ban, one of the BIG 3 networks (don't recall which) spoke on the subject with of course, a fully automatic AK47 spraying in the background. The Clinton gun ban had NOTHING to do with fully automatic firearms. Misleading, certainly. Liberal pukes, MAKING the news.

The tyrants crossed that line long ago.
