Is Seeing Believing?

Bogus, look at the bottom lip of the man. The FAH sound is made by briefly placing the bottom lip under the front teeth. The BAH sound is done without the bottom lip under the front teeth.

The political/media implications are obvious. And frightening. Make that lie BIG, and repeatedly.
Put a father, cradling his son and getting shot down in a rain of bullets, and spliced into a narrative about how bad the Israelis are, on TV globally.
Repeat: Trump is a Nazi, 400 times. Make sure to have a graphic to go with it.
Repeat: Islamophobia, 5 times every hour, on the internet and TV. Next thing you know, the nonsensical word becomes reality.
The imperative to grasp reality has never been so important as now.

Yes - what CK said.
We believe what we see before we believe what we hear.
Well, actually that's what the other guy said too - he "see's something" and throws up the "uh uh flag".

The problem I'm having is I can't quite believe what I see (not in this vid ... in the news of the day).

Yeah, I've noticed this effect too: I see islamists burning people alive, but hear the "news" reporter say that islam is peaceful and wants to coexist.

Definitely cognitive dissonance there!
