I reject the implication that their lack of responsibility automatically becomes the responsibility of responsible people by force of other irresponsible people.

It has been reliably established that the entire population of the Earth could be comfortably ensconced in the state of Texas - resulting in a lesser population density than that of Manhattan.

But then who'd want to live in Manhattan.
