Comments: ‘The Church of England is dying', warns former Queen’s Chaplain

When my cousin died, the funeral was handled by an Episcopal priest of her acquaintance. It was the strangest service, to see a priest with no faith in action. I wonder if he ever had any.

It sounds a lot like mainline denominations in America, too. For example, The UMC (see "Death throes of the Blue Model church.")

Which is why I left the pale dregs of the Presbyterian church for Orthodoxy.
