Comments: The women of the Hell’s Angels were bad, brassy, bombshell ‘old ladies’
"Bad, brassy bombshells"? Maybe. Some, apparently, were battered. Hunter S. Thompson terminated his Hell's Angels research after being stomped on for intervening in an old lady's beatdown. The Angels have a rather dubious reputation regarding their treatment of women back in the day, whether deserved or not I can't say. Here's a counterpoint to the romanticizing of the article's "female conspirators on the long road to freedom."
