Large blasts put out fires as easily as they may start them. Most intercontinental missiles are aimed at the other guy's missiles, and nukes don't explode sympathetically - they are devices. Anyway, why even argue it? The "sciencetits" who postulate this crap don't seem to even engage half of their brains, and then they engage their pen.
Their readership and audience are even stupider.

Back track the money and you'll find the problem.
The scientists are paid by the gov't, whether they do proper work or not, so there is no incentive to do so. Therefore, they take the easy way out. What's the word I'm searching for.....oh yeah, tenure.
