FREE! American Digest's Living Author Holiday Give Away

It's the next Senator from the great state of Minnesota! (Psst: He posted this very picture on his own website not more than a month or so ago.)

No need to send me one of his books; I've already got 'em.

Umm - yeah, I'm with Allah on this one (would it be a certain person who had a wife whose car was recently in the shop because of a bad tire and a bent rim who has a child, who, in the last few weeks, was able to join dad on a parade?)

Don't send me a book, shoot one on over to Greyhawk or one of the bloggers reporting from Iraq.

Yes, I'd say Mr. "Regrettable Food". The chin gives it away.

I remember when I saw his pic I thought he would make a better Trip Fontaine for Sofia Coppolla's The Virgin Suicides. Good call by BRD on where the book oughta go.

Has anyone seen the picture of him on the cover of his late-80s mystery novel "Mr. Obvious"? Cover this picture's hair with a fedora (if memory serves) and you're there!
...Wait, maybe I'm thinking of "Fresh Lies" but whatever.

P.S. Hi, Mr.L., from your old Green Mill phone operator and the guy who brought you to the podium of an English class at dear old CDH in 1989!
