While this is certainly true to an extent, I would venture that it is also somewhat relative to your specific fuel mixture and your physical aerodynamics.

To me, the best (and worst) thing about cocktail parties is that a few sips from one drink scramble the speech centers in my brain now. Doesn't matter what it is, either. I used to be able to drink many people under the table. Sobriety bites. (Actually it's getting too old and sensible that bites. :-)
