You can cut down on laundry and baths by letting the kids run around naked in the rain.

Seriously, about the only time I ever get my hair completely clean is when I go out during a rain. Don't have a hat for that reason.

Wow. That brings back memories. I spent some time at Ft Lewis, and I cannot remember ever being more wet and miserable in the field.

A more cloudy area I cannot imagine.

Wait until the sun unexpectedly shines. I-5 will turn into a parking lot. People will momentarily panic. It'll be on the news for a week.

When I lived in Seattle it took some time to get use to going to bed and waking up to the constant mist but my suggestion to the continual wet winters is to definately start using natural full spectrum light bulbs, because the lack of sunshine really takes a toll on you. In defense of Seattle though, when the sun does shine, there really isn't a more lovely display of natural beauty. Its a feast for the eyes!
