The Religion of Peace Rocks Out with the Iranians at Mecca

Isn't it just amazing how Americans opposed to this administration -- and much of the Western world -- chooses to ignore that which is being said openly by Muslims during their holy pilgrimage?

From the president of Iran to the throngs making the Hajj, they speak of an eternal war against the non-Muslim world, and our more enlightened thinkers persist in the belief that it's all bluster and third-world bravado.

On the other hand, so-called simpletons like Pres. Bush hew to the middle-America ethic that when a man says he's gonna kill ya, you oughta take him at his word.

Nope. No questions.

Call THAT a love-fest? Usually it's thirty or forty comments on Flickr before anyone challenges the party line, and they usually get jumped on far worse than this guy. :)

(N.B.: I am not saying that Flickr-ites tend to hew to one party-line or another, only that some photos garner tons of fawning attention for political statements before anyone thinks to bring in another POV.)

Nope, no questions. When will Westerners raise the cry for Crusade? When will be call in the ambassadors from Islamic lands to explain this hateful anti-West rhetoric?

No questions at all.

Just wait till they get nukes. Then the whole "death to America/Israel" thing will be a lot less figurative and a lot more literal.
