Well, it would do a lot for blog traffic.
Actually, I think they're both great, but Rumsfeld doesn't have the temperament to be president. I think we figured that out well before his second stint as Sec Def.

Posted by LARWYN at May 6, 2006 6:09 PMI love it!
I can hear the campaign slogan now:
"Rumsfeld and Rice; Time to Cut the Bullshit"
Posted by Doug at May 6, 2006 6:10 PMDear Hawk,
Two words: Harry Truman.
On a related note: today at a rest stop in Nevada I thought it was ironic to see a one-ton Ford crew-cab pickup with a bumper sticker that said "Earth First".
Then my co-driver pointed out the subtitle: Mine the other planets later.
The truck's driver said his company, a maker of rock and ore crushers, gives them out, but he didn't have any spares. Perhaps you should take up the slack.
Regards,
Ric
I'd vote for that ticket in a heartbeat.
If Rumsfeld wins, maybe he could name Mark Levin as Press Secretary?
