There was a time when I would have groaned and laughed at that speech. Now, I'm going to pass it on to others who need a reminder that there is always another evil to rise up and replace the evil that has been defeated.

Why is it that in this time of great need for great leaders the political landscape is barren? You would think that someone would somehow percolate up from this necessity, that the "great" American people would birth a leader worthy of her heritage and promise. Instead of an heir to Ronald Reagan we have mostly a legion of empty suits. Maybe we HAVE lost our soul, Gerard.

Sadly, Ron's standing as all-time dumbest president no long holds.

"I believe that the issues confronting us cross party lines."

I think that you would find almost no elected Democrat today who would agree with that sentiment. In fact, they'd probably give you the same look that my dog does when I try to explain special relativity to him. My mouth would move and sounds would come out, but the poor creature would understand nothing.

Nigel, you're an idiot. Only you spoon fed liberals without the common sense God gave a hammer refuse to believe in the great intellegence of Ronald Reagan.
