Quite a challenge to live that way, and most certainly not for the faint of heart nor the weak of will. But he who succeeds can, at the end, look back and take comfort from the fact that in living for something more than transitory needs and self-interest, he has managed to transcend mere animal nature and become fully Human. And that is no small achievement.
