That post by The Anchoress about BDS and shoe throwing where she links to the video of the troops greeting George Bush... that did it! How could the American electorate DO this to our self-sacrificing military men and women? Ingrates! Once again, we conservatives are left to apologize for the adolescent left in America. As to the "mixed race" notion: It's not entirely out of the question considering the 300-year time lapse from the original Ptolemaic dynasty. It is however, highly improbable. I do believe the different factions of the Alexandrian empire wanted to maintain purity of lineage.
Could I be wrong? Of course, but this item with the corn-rowed Cleopatra seems highly suspect.
