It seems imminently clear that statement is self evident. For all his shortcomings, McCain wouldn't have made a fraction of these rookie, self destructive mistakes. It goes without saying
that Governor Sarah Palin wouldn't have either. But what does it say about this country, that they decided to take such a huge gamble, based on no evidence, and we have practically no recourse until 2010 if we're lucky to try to repair the debris of our economic, constitutional and foreign policy apparatus.
