American Digest Regretfully Announces Its First Sponsor

You don't have to be Fellini to figure that out.

Ah..."Its".

And actually, one of my favorite things about Bush was his name. Just old-fashioned, I guess.

LOL...thanks for today's belly laugh.

Posted by Barnabus at April 3, 2009 10:16 AM

That wasn't even clever. It was just dumb.

Too damn funny!

Last week I saw a different one of these on American TV, I forget which station. It was much more subtle (a woman, toweling off after a shower, walks past a scruffy topiary which magically becomes well-groomed, etc.), but DH and I both died laughing when we realized what it was about.

This one's funnier, though.

I don't like the generic banner, guy. I miss the old classy one. Bring it back, please? Pretty please?

I am honest enough to admit I did not figure that out until almost the end.

I guess the GNP is a thing of the past.

Looks a little old school to me, they ought to wax that shubbery into shape.

Well, it's a way better trend than tattoos, piercing, and scarification.

Stealing from Theo now. Good move.

I like Theo but I don't steal from him without attribution. Didn't see it there. Some twitter link I think.

oh my. oh my. That was just wonderful! I like Youphemism!

Posted by Jewel at April 3, 2009 10:13 PM

Aaaarghh....Please, I'm begging you.

"Its," not "It's".

"American Digest Announces It Is First Sponsor" just doesn't cut it, does it?

Also, what the hell, as long as I'm begging, bring back bushes and Bushes and let girls look like girls again. And outlaw plastic tits.

Couldn't hurt.

Posted by Rob De Witt at April 3, 2009 11:24 PM

Arrrgh...... "Its" it is. Thank you. I almost never make that elementary mistake. Must have had my mind in the bushes.

Gerard,

I was referring to cheesecake. I, too, bought Playboy for the editorials.
