Turkish Advertising Ready for Membership in the EU

"Swastika" brand rice (replete with the appropriate logo) is a very popular brand in India, since the swastika is an ancient Indian symbol. I've seen it in central asian grocery stores here in the U.S.

I wandered into this Nazi-memorabilia themed Seoul with some fellow troops about 25 years ago.

It had been a news item on AFN, as some local Jews (yes, apparently there are Jews in Seoul) had complained about it to the owners.

The Koreans couldn't understand what the controversy was about.

Meh. Silly advertising gone wrong.

Our politicians tell us that Turkey is ready to be embraced into the arms of the E.U along with open borders,...I have my doubts.Turkey has long standing connections with Germany...they know what this stands for.
